CHIEF started because I adore jewellery and could not find enough of the kind I wanted to wear.

Pieces with a point of view. Materials worth putting on every day. A price that still made sense. So I started making them.

Made with intention

We are small on purpose. Every piece starts with one idea: a stone, a proportion, a reference worth keeping. Then we take things away until only the right ones remain.

An Australian sensibility

Relaxed, never careless. Worn to dinner and to the school gate. Jewellery that is meant to be lived in, not kept for best.

What it is made of

Most of what we make is sterling silver, from manufacturers certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. A few earlier pieces are gold-plated brass. Every piece tells you which, down to the plating.
